TEES VALLEY COMBINED AUTHORITY – APPRENTICESHIP SUPPORT FOR EMPLOYERS GRANT
The Employers Grant available through the Tees Valley Combined Authority, supports employers in the Tees Valley to create new apprenticeship opportunities for apprentices aged 19+.
This initiative supports SME’s in sectors facing high demand from employers, as identified in the Tees Valley Strategic Economic Plan, including the following areas:
The Grant provides two separate and distinct offers to employers:
Available for small to medium businesses, with fewer than 250 employees, from one of the above priority sectors. The grant is available to those who employ an apprentice aged 19+, working towards an approved apprenticeship.
Available for small businesses (under 50 employees) but not in one of the above priority sectors. This grant is available to those who employ an apprentice aged 19+, working towards an approved apprenticeship.
*You cannot be eligible to apply for both Grant A and Grant B. The Tees Valley Combined Authority will determine if your company falls within one of their identified priority sectors.
