Apprenticeships have historically been Government Funded and linked to the age of the Apprentice.
The Government has identified the need to share costs for the apprenticeship programme and therefore funding in the future will require employers to contribute to the training of their apprentices.
As a consequence of this reform of the funding system employers will now be able to control the costs of delivery and this will give you the opportunity to purchase the most relevant training for the apprentice and your business.
TTE have funding experts who can support and guide you in identifying your apprentice training requirements.
Funding for up to 700 apprenticeship places have now been made available through the Tees Valley Apprenticeship Grant for Employers Programme (TVAGE), and we need your help to fill them.
As a specialist skills provider in key sectors such as engineering, manufacturing, fabrication & welding and process, TTE Technical Training Group can help you find your perfect apprentice. And there’s never been a better time, with new government funding you could get up to £3,500 towards the cost of taking on a new apprentice aged 16-24, who would start their learning between the 1st August and 31st December 2016.
To access the funding TTE have set up a dedicated team of advisors to ensure you’re supported from your initial application and the eligiblity process right through to enrolment in full time employment. Which makes taking on a new apprentice easy.
