TTE Centre officially opened by Steph McGovern

Renowned broadcaster and proud Teesside native, Steph McGovern, opened the TTE Centre on Thursday 20th March 2025, cutting the ribbon and touring the world-class facilities.

Steph, who is passionate about supporting young people in STEM, praised the TTE Centre’s potential to transform lives and careers. She said: “It’s brilliant to see this kind of investment in the North East. The TTE Centre is exactly what young people need – access to world-class facilities and hands-on training that sets them up for successful careers. It’s proof that the talent we have here in Teesside is second to none and now students have the tools to really thrive.”
