Global Training Solutions

To demonstrate our capability a typical 6 month programme at our training centre in the UK would include, but is not limited to the following:

  • NVQ Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations Level 2 or Diploma in Processing Plant Operations in a replicated environment
  • IOSH Working Safely
  • CIEH Level 2 Award in Manual Handling
  • ILM Level 2 Award in Leadership and Team Skills

Progression from these programmes could include, but is not limited to the following:

  • NVQ certificate/diploma in Processing Operations Level 3
  • Diploma in Process Engineering Maintenance Level 3
  • NVQ Certificate/Diploma in Processing Industries Operations Levels 3 & 4
  • NVQ Certificate/Diploma in Laboratory and associated Technical Activities Levels 2-4
  • NVQ Certificate/Diploma in Management levels 3 & 5

TTE is also able to provide English Language training and support prior to programmes being undertaken in the UK in line with Tier 4 Student Visa Application requirements. TTE are inspected regularly by the independent schools inspectorate for educational oversight to ensure that our programmes are appropriate for international delegates.

We do offer competency assessment services, this is undertaken by Quantech Competence Development ltd. The company independently focuses on assessment of competence in the work place and consultancy services to enable companies to identify, create and validate their employees skills in the UK and overseas.

Accredited Courses

To reserve your place, please go to the Accredited Courses website, select your required course and complete the online booking form.

Although we offer value-for-money training, discounts may be available when group bookings are made.

The majority of our courses are delivered in our purpose-built training facility in Middlesbrough. However, we are flexible and can deliver some of the courses on-site, in the UK and overseas.

For courses booked using a purchase order, payment is required within 30 working days from receipt of the invoice. All other course bookings require immediate payment. We accept the following payment methods, credit/debit card, cheque, cash or BACS payment. Card payments can be processed by contacting the Business Development Team on +44 (0)1642 770310.

We can re-schedule training to another course date, subject to availability. This may incur a 15% administration charge. Full course fees must be paid for cancellations made within 20 working days of the course start date.

Hot lunches/refreshments are provided on all full day training courses, delivered on our premises.

Examinations are compulsory for courses accredited by an awarding body. Other courses may involve a practical/theoretical assessment. Please refer to the course description.

Each course delegate will receive a certificate after the course, subject to satisfactory completion and payment of the course fees.


TTE’s first assessment centre usually takes place in February and subsequently coincides with school holidays. You will be given a date and time at which to attend the assessment centre. The assessment consists of the following topics. All candidates are tested for colour deficiency.

All candidates are tested for colour deficiency. Preferred dress code is smart/casual and please allow 90 mins for the complete process to take place.

An Engineering practice test can be found at for a minimal cost.

Study Programmes

Level 3 – A*-C

Level 2 – C- E

In English, Maths and Science

Provision is provided to learners who didn’t not achieve a C or above in English or Maths. This may involve taking on extra lessons at TTE.

Government requirement is that each learner should be working towards a C or above.

This depends on which programme you are following. Attendance times of our Study Programme is 5 days over two weeks, 8:30am-15.45

Our apprenticeships are Monday to Friday 8:30 – 15:45.

All our training is undertaken at our main site at Edison House in South Bank. TTE is located near a railway station and local bus routes from Redcar & Cleveland, Middlesbrough, Stockton and Hartlepool. For more information go to
