Progressing onto an apprenticeship
If you’re interested in pursuing an apprenticeship, we strongly recommend also applying for a full-time study programme in your chosen specialism.
Throughout the year, when an employer requests an intake of apprentices, we open these opportunities up to our full-time students. If successful, students ca seamlessly transfer onto the apprenticeship pathway and continue their qualification with us on a day-release basis. This route allows students to continue their studies while gaining valuable hands-on experience with their new employer.

“The tutors are always helpful and really help you push yourself to find new solutions and ways of working. The facilities at TTE replicate the real world so its great to be able to have that hands on experience.”
Henri-Lee Horner, Instrumentation and Control
“I wanted to do more hands-on learning and to get the best experience for industry and be trained on-site. Engineering is such an exciting career, and I am glad to have already kick started my career in it with an apprenticeship!”
